What is performed during preventative maintenance?

  • Test all controls (contractors, capacitors, circuit board, relays, transformers,etc.)
  • Check refrigerant levels for proper charge
  • Check blower speeds for proper cfm output
  • Check amperage on compressor to prevent overheating and potential outage
  • Check all possible air flow restrictions which cause unit to run longer and harder
  • Washed outside condenser

Commercial Precision Tune Up

We recommend a comprehensive precision tune up and professional cleaning 2 times per year. Our precision tune up includes a 22 point check up including the following:

  • Clean and adjust burner/pilot assembly
  • Clean ignition assembly
  • Clean heat exchanger or elements
  • Monitor flue draft
  • Monitor refrigerant pressure
  • Test starting capabilities
  • Test and adjust safety controls
  • Clean or replace air filters
  • Clean and adjust blower components
  • Measure for correct air flow
  • Tighten electrical connections
  • Measure volts/amps
  • Lubricate moving parts (where applicable)
  • Adjust thermostat calibration
  • Clean evaporator coil (if applicable)
